Same thing goes with other religions such as Christian, LDS (Latter-days Saints) and Jewish which the women cannot wear tight and transparent clothes in order to avoid any purposeful enticement.
For Christian women, they are required to dress with modesty and femininity. For them, modest clothing for women is including type of clothes which does not purposely draw attention to oneself and the clothes which can avoid any unintended enticement in inappropriate ways and places. Besides, in Bible itself, it explains that the main concern for women is to have a good heart rather than just appears beautiful with expensive clothes and jewelleries. In nowadays, some of the modest Christian clothing for women such as long skirts, modest tops and tees, below-the-knee dresses and even modest undergarments can be easily found and bought from online shops which provide huge choices of the trendy and stylish, yet still modest.
The Mormons or LDS have developed their own culture and tradition from their history. Many of them are referred as Christians though some of their beliefs are different from mainstream Christianity. For the Mormons, modest clothing for women, which some of them is also according to Bible, must not be something which is designed to sexually attract. That type of modest clothing for LDS explains the restriction of any sexual activity outside marriage for them. LDS women are required to wear clothes which can show their femininity, not whorishness. For example, if you want to wear a skirt, it must be long enough to fall about 4 inches below the knee and no sheer fabrics. Besides, modest clothing for Jewish women must not include shorts, pants and tight-fitting, clingy knits. In Jewish, women are required to dress in modesty to avoid them to be objectified and degraded. This is because when women are viewed based on their physical, their internal character will be stripped and forgotten.
